Patch 5.4: Die zeitlose Insel (5 neue Weltbosse) (Update) ³

Neben dem neuen Raid und einigen recht interessanten neuen Features wird der kommende Patch 5.4 auch noch die neue Zone “Die zeitlose Insel” in WoW implementieren. Obwohl man diese östlich vom Jadewald gelegene Insel derzeit auf dem Testserver leider nicht mehr besuchen kann, gibt es dennoch bereits einige Informationen dazu.

Update: Beschreibungen der Bosse und neue Bilder

Das Interessante an dieser neuen Zone sind insgesamt 5 neue Weltbosse, welche man auf der zeitlosen Insel antreffen kann. Dabei bestehen 4 dieser Kämpfe aus Prüfungen der himmlischen Erhabenen, weshalb man vermutlich gegen Niuzao, Yu’lon, Xuen oder Chi-Ji kämpfen können wird. Der fünfte Weltboss wird von dem Feuergott der Yaungol mit dem Namen Ordos verkörpert.

Während sich die Beschreibungen der 4 Schutzgötter von Pandaria im Dungeonkompendium eindeutig um Prüfungen drehen, die immer auf die von dem jeweiligen himmlischen Erhabenen verkörperte Emotion abgestimmt ist, scheint es sich bei Ordos einfach nur um einen normalen Feind zu handeln.

Chi-Ji, The Red Crane:

Fähigkeiten:

• Inspiring Song: Chi-Ji sings an inspiring song, healing for 5% of maximum health every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
• Firestorm: Summons a blazing whirlwind of fire, which inflicts 200000 Fire damage to players within 10 yards every 2 sec. and moves around.
• Beacon of Hope: Chi-Ji designates one player as a Beacon of Hope, reducing damage taken by 90% for all players within 5 yards for 20 sec.
• Blazing Song: After designating a Beacon of Hope, Chi-Ji sings a Blazing Song, inflicting 500000 Fire damage every 2 sec. for 10 sec.
• Crane Rush: At 66% and 33% health remaining Chi-Ji summons a flock of Children of Chi-Ji over 15 sec.
• Child of Chi-Ji: Children of Chi-Ji flock away from Chi-Ji, casting a Blazing Nova every 1 sec
• Blazing Nova: Deals 300000 Fire damage to players within 4 yards.

Dungeonkompendium:

• The trial of Chi-Ji is a test of hope. Uncertain of the future of his people, Emperor Shaohao sought out the great Red Crane. The Great Crane challenged Shaohao to find the hope within himself, and cast off his uncertainty. Once the Sha of Doubt was vanquished, the Emperor became a beacon of hope for his people. To pass the trial of the Crane, warriors must believe in hope, even in the darkest of days.

Yu’lon, The Jade Serpent:

• Jadeflame Buffet: Inflicts 30000 Fire damage to all nearby players and increases Fire damage taken by 5% for 1 min. This effect stacks.
• Jadefire Breath: Inflicts 300000 Fire damage to players within a 40 yard cone.
• Jadefire Bolt: Launches several Jadefire Bolts, creating Jadefire Blazes at the impact locations.
• Jadefire Blaze: Inflicts 100000 Fire damage to players within 11 yards every 1 sec.
• Jadefire Wall: Summons a massive wall of jade fire, inflicting 500000 Fire damage to players caught within the blaze.

Dungeonkompendium:

• The trial of Yu’lon is a test of wisdom and faith. With omens of a bleak future floating through his mind, Emperor Shaohao climbed to the summit of Mount Neverest to seek the council of the Jade Serpent. Yu’lon urged Shaohao to cast off the dark emotions that plagued him, and through his trials, Emperor Shaohao would become one with the land. To pass the trial of the Serpent, warriors must be wise in their choices.

Niuzao, The Black Ox:

Fähigkeiten:

• Headbutt: Inflicts 1000000 Physical damage, knocks the player back and removes all threat.
• Oxen Fortitude: Niuzao tests the enemy’s fortitude, increasing all players’ health by 20% and Niuzao’s damage dealt by 10% per stack for <Unknown value – The spell referenced no longer exists>. This effect stacks.
• Massive Quake: Inflicts 100000 Physical damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec.
• Charge: At 66% and 33% health remaining, Niuzao charges around the arena, inflicting 500000 Physical damage to enemies within 30 yards every 1 sec.

Dungeonkompendium:

• The trial of Niuzao is a test of bravery and fortitude.  When Emperor Shaohao was overcome with fear, the Black Ox counseled him to face his fears directly. After a protracted battle with the Sha of Fear, the Emperor emerged victorious. To pass the trial of the Ox, warriors must be resolute in the face of overwhelming danger.

Xuen, The White Tiger:

Fähigkeiten:

• Spectral Swipe: Xuen swipes at players in a 0 yard cone, inflicting 300000 Physical damage and reducing armor by 10% for 1 min.
• Leap: Leaps at a player, performing a Spectral Swipe upon landing.
• Crackling Lightning: Inflicts 100000 Nature damage to players every 1 sec. and jumps to up to 5 nearby targets.
• Chi Barrage: Launches a barrage of Chi at players, inflicting 500000 Nature damage to players within 3 yards of the impact locations.
• Agility: Increases haste by 300% for 1 min.

Dungeonkompendium:

• The trial of Xuen is simultaneously a test of strength and a test of restraint. When Xuen gave Emperor Shaohao a 10-foot-pole and asked him to strike one of Xuen’s warriors, the Emperor could not land a blow. For without restraint, anger and hatred run wild. To pass the trial of the Tiger, warriors must harness their power, while burying their thoughts of violence.

Ordos, Fire-God of the Yaungol:

Fähigkeiten:

• Magma Crush: Inflicts 5000000 Fire damage, split evently amongst all players within 20 yards of the target.
• Burning Soul: Inflicts 50000 Fire damage every 1 sec. for 10 sec. On expiration, the player explodes, inflicting 300000 Fire damage to players within 8 yards and knocking them up.
• Pool of Fire: Creates a pool of fire that inflicts 50000 Fire damage every 1 sec.
• Ancient Flame: Summons an orb that inflicts 50000 Fire damage to the nearest player every 2 sec. and increases Fire damage taken by 5% for 10 sec.
• Eternal Agony: After 5 minutes, Ordos channels all of his power into a massive ball of magma, inflicting 300000 Fire damage to all players every 1 sec.

Dungeonkompendium:

• Ordos was once a shaman of the Yaungol who sacrificed himself to the flame, following the promises of the Fire Lords, in order to become a demigod. His flesh is eternally seared with fires, putting him in endless agony. Yaungol Fire-Keepers ritualistically set themselves ablaze to emulate the ascension of Ordos, and cast enchantments and prayers to ease his pain.

Turnier der Erhabenen:

Neben diesen Weltbossen wird es auf der neuen zeitlosen Insel auch noch ein spezielles Turnier für Spieler mit ihren Haustieren geben. Auch wenn es zu diesem Inhalt keine weiteren Informationen gibt, so haben die Entwickler bereits in der Vergangenheit mehrfach erwähnt, dass man den PvP Aspekt der Hautierkämpfe weiter fördern möchte.

Kurz nach Eröffnung der offiziellen Testserver zu Patch 5.4 wurde der Zugang zu der zeitlosen Insel gesperrt, sodass kein Spieler sich ihr mehr nähern kann. Dennoch wurde in diesem sehr kurzen Zeitfenster ein erstes Video der neuen Zone aufgenommen.
